about us

Future Childcare Training Limited is a specialist team that provide short courses for qualified childcare professionals. Our courses aim to improve the standards of practice when working with children and families, and provide professionals with the necessary knowledge, skills and confidence to take their practice to the next level. We also help organisations develop new government initiatives.
We offer group courses for teams of childcare professionals (between 12 and 25 delegates) who all need to be trained in a specific subject area. One of our course trainers will travel to your local area to deliver the course at a venue organised by yourself. We have over 20 different group courses to choose from, all of which fall within one of the following four categories: parenting programmes, practice development courses, child protection courses, and accommodated children courses.
We also offer regional courses that individuals and small teams can book places on. We hold regional courses in Glasgow (Scotland) or Rugby (Warwickshire). The courses we offer on a regional basis are:
- handling children’s behaviour parenting programme (2 day course)
- handling teenage behaviour parenting programme (2 day course)
- professional dangerousness “please keep me safe!” (2 day course)
- direct work with children (1 day course)
- esteem builder’s course (1 day course)
- anger management (1 day course)
- autism: what you need to know (1 day course)
.
To find out the next regional course dates please visit our regional courses page.
In addition, we also offer a consultation service. We can provide consultation around practices relating to the issues covered on any of our courses, or we can provide bespoke consultation for individual requests. We are keen to provide follow up consultation days with professionals who are working with parents either in groups or doing individual packages of work.
