managing a risk assessment
about the course
This two-day course is the second module in our training series relating to childcare and child protection assessments. This course is primarily for workers who take a lead role in assessments. Following many requests we are offering the opportunity for practitioners to explore the professional standards that must be considered when conducting an assessment.
The course guides you through the process of setting up the work, on-going planning and evaluating, ensuring clarity of roles and responsibilities, to making recommendations, formalising decisions and understanding outcomes. It is a practice based course and delivered by experienced trainers who work in this field. Social Workers, Managers in Social/Health care, Colleagues in the Private, Voluntary and Statutory sector. Family Centre and Family Support staff who have a supervisory and a lead role throughout the assessment process, will all find this course invaluable to their practice.
